Personal and organisation accounts
When you create an account you choose who it is for:
- Just me — your own mail and documents.
- My organisation — a company, a team or a school. Your organisation is created with you as its owner when you confirm your email address.
Either way, you can create an organisation later, or join one when somebody invites you. See Organisations.
Where your account is kept
Accounts are kept in the European Union, in Frankfurt. The privacy notice says what is stored and for how long.
