Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in Nixt Writer, for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Writer’s shortcuts use ⌘ on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux. On macOS, Ctrl works for them too.

Command shortcuts work while the caret is in the document or in the find bar.

Commands without a shortcut

These have no keyboard shortcut in Writer. Use the ribbon or the More menu:

  • Strikethrough, text colour, highlight, alignment, line spacing and lists.
  • Insert a page break (Insert › Breaks).
  • Print (More › Print…).
  • Close the document (the back arrow in the title bar).
